Natural Factors Calcium Ascorbate powder is made up of roughly 9 parts ascorbic acid to 1 part of calcium. This makes it pH neutral.
By combining calcium with ascorbic acid, other benefits occur: i) the ascorbic acid helps to absorb calcium and become bioavailable to the cells; ii) the calcium holds the vitamin C, allowing it to stay in the cells longer, whereas water soluble vitamin C leaves the body quite quickly.
